Book Review: Porcelian Keys by Sarah Beard

I loved this book. It drew me into the story from the very beginning of the book and I could hardly put it down. I needed to know what was going to happen. It was a good, clean romance novel full of twists and turns. I can't wait to read more of Sarah Beard's books.

Book Review: Unraveled: A Tale of True Love

I really enjoyed this book. I haven't read any books by Julie Daines before now, but I can't wait to read more. This book was full of folklore, adventure, love and magical shoes! This is a good, clean book that you don't have to worry about what you or your family members are going to read. I love the message that this book has to offer for it readers.

Book Review: Walking on Water

This is the fifth and final book in the Walk Series by Richard Paul Evans. It was a great way to end the series. There is a great story line through out this book (as well as the four books prior to this one.) You can't help but feel for Alan and all he goes through.

All the books in the series are quick reads. I have a toddler (so not much free time) and I was about to read the book in about 2 days.  I would definitely recommend this series.

Book Review: A Far Horizon (Shadows of Brierley #2)

I enjoyed reading Anita Stansfield's books and this book was no exception. This is the second book in the Shadows of Brierley series. This book is about the journey of Ian and Wren MacBrier to America as they search out the Mormons. A lot happens to them on their journey and it really makes you feel for them.

I think this books is a great one time read.

Summer Book Trek 2014

I have decided to start a new blog, where I can review things that I like, post recipes I like and more.

One reason I wanted to do this is because I am joining the Summer Book Trek over on NewLDSFiction.com and I needed a space to review the books I read. I am excited to read some new books by LDS authors.

During this trek I am going to try reading:

1- A Far Horizon (Shadows of Brierley, #2) by
A Distant Shore (Shadows of Brierley, #3) by Anita Stansfield
3- In the Valley of the Mountains (Shadows of Brierley, #4) by Anita Stansfield
4- Walking on Water by Richard Paul Evans
5- Unraveled: A Tale of True Love Paperback by Julie Daines
6- Porcelain Keys by Sarah Beard

We will see how this plan goes...

I would love to have you join in the fun!
